In a bid to standardise the National Enquiry System, telephone No 139, which was recently introduced by the Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation(IRCTC). The previous call centre no ‘131′ will be closed for service with effect from July 21, said a press release from the Southern Railway.So hereafter any queries related to railways means contact them in this number for allover INDIA. The release also requested the passengers to contact telephone No 139 for all their reservation related queries.
